-The 15th Annual Michael A. Washington Piano Benefit Concert this Sunday, March 26th at 3pm at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. This year’s concert will feature our advanced piano class as well as three of our distinguished alumni. Friday, Samya Marcelus won with her guess of 206 pieces of candy in the jar! The Friday trivia question winners are Emma Vogeli, Kenya S., and Kalani McArthur. Photo Booth contest winners are, Naalia Rajkumar, Bijou Kai, and Katherine Webster for their photo; Taylor Thompson and Alice for their camp fire scene as well as the student who uploaded the image titled "Cold." You'll find an even greater selection that what we had last week and can shop for all ages, from preK to adult! -The blood drive is Wednesday, March 29th which is a B-day. Sign ups are ongoing during both high school lunches through March 28th. Students only have to be 16 with parental consent. Teachers are encouraged to donate during your planning period, and will receive half a comp day if you donate. If you are 16 all completed consent forms should be returned to Ms. Strahan or Emilie Erickson who will be at the sign up table all week. This concert is showcasing student choreography by our high school senior dance majors. Tickets are $5 for Students, $7 for adults, and $10 for the general public. Children 3 and under are free.Students, please arrange transportation prior to the performance. You must have your ride at school by 8:00 pm.
