On December 5th after school from 5 to 7 pm there is an event for High School students in the Media Center that will focus on mentoring students about the Common Application for College. If there are any questions or concerns contact Tonaysia Price.
-Attention all 8th to 12th dance majors, this Thursday and Friday the Student Choreography Showscase auditions will be held after school from 4:30-6 in Ms. Binford and Mr. Winns room on December 8th and 9th. Please check Mr. Winns room for the audition schedule and futher information. There will be auditions in various styles of dance including contemporary, jazz, and tap so bring appropriate shoes. If you are auditioning make sure your ride is here promptly at 6. -Attention all middle schoolers: There will be a winter dance for all middle schoolers this Friday, December 9th from 5-7 pm in the black box. All students attending will meet after school at 4:15 in the cafeteria. Tickets for the dance will be $7 a piece all week during all lunches. Pizza and drinks will be provided during the dance. Hope to see you all there! If you are interested in joining the Cosplay Club, please see Ms. Berry in room B111 for an application. Cosplay Club meets every Tuesday from 4:15 until 4:45. You must submit an application to attend. -Attention all students! Student leadership is selling tshirts as a fundraiser. Shirts are $15 and must be purchased in cash. See Ms. Strahan in room D-316 to pay for a shirt before december 21st. To preview the shirt design, look at the bulletin boards outside of the cafeteria and in the 1st and 3rd floors of the D Building. -The Book Fair is coming! Online shopping will continue through December 12th. The Fair will open in the Media Center December 12th and continue through December 16th. Flyers will be coming, but get ready to shop! The Right Moves for Youth groups here at the Northwest School of the Arts are collecting items to be donated to the Children’s Levine Hospital during the holiday season. They are collecting crossword, word search, hidden object and number search puzzles, books and educational toys. If you would like to donate those items, please drop off your donated items in Student Services. There will be a box located within the conference room labeled “Right Moves For Youth”. The items can be donated from now until December 14th. If you have any questions, see Officer Mobley or Mrs. Washington. -Our school wide canned food drive starts today! The collection bin will be located in the front office.
